If eventually technology will help us fulfil all seven layers of our human needs, there will only be the top level of the pyramid to focus on – that means living a life of purpose. It gives me great optimism to think there is the chance of us becoming a society where personal growth, morality, fulfilment, purpose, self-knowledge, and placing the needs of others above self is where our human potential can take us.
