The Royal Dutch Association of Civil-law Notaries (KNB) exists 175 years! This was celebrated with a festive conference at the Van Nelle factory in Rotterdam one week ago. I spoke about the impact of artificial intelligence on the notarial profession. During my speech, His Royal Highness King Willem-Alexander sat in the front row.

Artificial Intelligence

The subject of my keynote was the influence of artificial intelligence on the notarial profession. We have to develop ourselves in an exponentially way as human beings. We will have to become more human to continue delivering added value in our society. So perhaps we should less trust the intelligence in our heads and listen more to the intelligence in our hearts. Artificial Intelligence behaves like a mirror, it mirrors and amplifies our flaws. AI will help humans to look inside and develop their inside world instead of the outside world. As a result, humanity will become more conscious.
