About the 2018 HRTECH Summit in DubaiÂ
The Middle East and North Africa region (MENA) has been at the forefront of innovation and inspiration. Be it record-breaking projects or jaw-dropping spectacles, it has always captivated the world’s hearts. Technology has revolutionized the way humans live and also has greatly impacted the way organizations function many times over.
We are now in the brink of an era of Revolutionizing the Future of Workplace where a proactive mindset and being business strategy focused is essential to meet the demands of tomorrow. HR is at a crossroads, where it is no longer a service-oriented function but needs to be equipped in order to influence other aspects of business. In the Middle East, as the organizations are moving towards digitization, HR Leaders are turning to latest technology solutions for their Human Resource Functions in order to make smart business decisions.
While there are a number of HR-focused and Tech focused events take place in the region, there is none that brings both HR and Tech together for workplace collaboration. To bridge this gap, we initiated the HR Tech MENA Summit in 2015, as the only event focused on HR Technology that brings together HR and IT Leaders from around the GCC region and leading technology innovators from around the world under one roof to discuss latest technology trends and disruptions for a period of two days.
With four tremendously successful editions in the past, we are gearing up for the fifth annual HR Tech MENA summit 2019 that has evolved into a one of a kind powerhouse, that plays hosts to regional thought leaders and international experts. This is the perfect platform for any organization in the MENA region who are on their digital transformation journey in order to be future ready.
From the biggest government bodies to large private organizations and International Solution Providers coming together to revolutionize the future of workplaces, the topics covered for the 2019 edition would cover revamp of talent acquisition, increased reliance on people analytics, developing employee experience, digitization of workplace using artificial intelligence and machine learning, personalized learning as well as other advancements in traditional HR processes.

Embracing the advancements of technology and AI can enhance our humanity. We can focus on developing our unique talents and skills by automating mundane tasks and freeing up our time. As humans, we can adapt and learn, allowing us to evolve and stay relevant in a rapidly changing world constantly.
Organizations will need to be more fluid, dynamic, and adaptable: the ability to change and adjust in response to new situations and environments. We are on the cusp of a new era of organizations, ones that are more fluid and agile and which behave like swarms we see in nature.
In the future, 3D printing and generative design will allow for products to be designed in a more decentralized manner, and production will take place closer to the customer and fully on-demand. 3D printing technology will also allow for more customization and personalization of products.
The agricultural industry is ripe for disruption. Robotics, AI, and IoT are all technologies that have the potential to radically transform the way we grow food. In combination with vertical farming, these technologies could increase the efficiency and quality of agricultural products.
A human-centered society is one that puts people first and where technology is used to unite and empower people. It is a society that values biological life and dignity above all else. It is a society that recognizes the importance of human relationships and works to strengthen them. In a human-centered society, all members of the community are valued and treated with respect.
The future of healthcare is here. New technologies like AI, IoT, big data, and smart sensors make it possible to become the CEO of your own health. Imagine that your phone can listen to your voice and AI algorithms can detect small nuances in the tone of your voice that indicate specific diseases.Â
