Increasingly we aren’t just sharing information; the growing trend is that we are starting to share our assets as well. Since the development of more and more platforms that allow us to share specific things, sharing our assets has gone virtual – and viral. So what’s next for the future of social sharing and collaboration? Let’s step into the future for a moment and see what sharing might look like in the near future.
I believe that in the future the core of every new initiative is going to be social. It’s in the DNA of everything we will do. Billions of new people will be connected to the internet and the number of people coming online is still increasing every day. The web is going to become the nervous system of the human race. If humanity were a car (and we are certainly an engine that drives things forward) then over time, as we add people to the web, it’s like adding extra cylinders to the engine of your car. With every extra cylinder, the car has more power and torque and it can go faster and faster. For the first time since the dawn of humanity, the engine of our society has the potential to run on full power. When the entire world population is connected then all the cylinders are going to be firing at the same time.
I’m incredibly optimistic that our increased social accountability and our desire to connect with each other on a local level will see the greatest increase in our happiness over the next few decades. It certainly has the potential for that, once we get used to the fact we can’t slow down the pace of change. I refer to the new era that’s on the way as ‘The WE society’ or the ‘WEconomy’ (as opposed to the ME society), and I believe it’s one of the biggest goals we can achieve as humanity. The WEconomy is a social and coherent society of highly connected people that work together as one organism. In the future, if we manage it well, I believe we have the potential to act as if we were one highly intelligent organism that treats itself (and the earth we live on) with the care and respect it deserves. Humanity has a bright future, and you are part of it. We are all part of it; starting today.

Our world is changing at an exponential rate! A big tidal wave of digital transformation and disruption is coming at us fast. Many organizations see this wave as a threat and experience stress, but there are also organizations that just see this wave as an opportunity.
Embracing the advancements of technology and AI can enhance our humanity. We can focus on developing our unique talents and skills by automating mundane tasks and freeing up our time. As humans, we can adapt and learn, allowing us to evolve and stay relevant in a rapidly changing world constantly.
Organizations will need to be more fluid, dynamic, and adaptable: the ability to change and adjust in response to new situations and environments. We are on the cusp of a new era of organizations, ones that are more fluid and agile and which behave like swarms we see in nature.
In the future, 3D printing and generative design will allow for products to be designed in a more decentralized manner, and production will take place closer to the customer and fully on-demand. 3D printing technology will also allow for more customization and personalization of products.
The agricultural industry is ripe for disruption. Robotics, AI, and IoT are all technologies that have the potential to radically transform the way we grow food. In combination with vertical farming, these technologies could increase the efficiency and quality of agricultural products.
A human-centered society is one that puts people first and where technology is used to unite and empower people. It is a society that values biological life and dignity above all else. It is a society that recognizes the importance of human relationships and works to strengthen them. In a human-centered society, all members of the community are valued and treated with respect.
It's hard to believe, but the way we experience and buy products is changing. With the advent of emerging technologies like artificial intelligence (Ai) and augmented reality (AR) and 3D printing, eCommerce and traditional retail are merging into one single experience.
The future of healthcare is here. New technologies like AI, IoT, big data, and smart sensors make it possible to become the CEO of your own health. Imagine that your phone can listen to your voice and AI algorithms can detect small nuances in the tone of your voice that indicate specific diseases.
