How to Wire Your Brains For Radical Change?

How to Wire Your Brains For Radical Change?

We all have dreams and things we want to change in our lives. But sometimes, the more we focus on those things, the more they evade us. Why is that? It's because we're human beings, and we often get in our way. Our subconscious minds pick up on things we're unaware of—like the fears and doubts we have about ourselves—and those things can hold us back from living the life we want. Fortunately, there is a way to break free from the self-imposed limitations holding you back. It's not easy, but it is possible. Here's how to do it.

Why We Get in Our Way

As human beings, we are conditioned from birth to conform to the norms of society. We're taught to believe certain things about ourselves and the world around us, which often become so ingrained that we're unaware of them. But whether we realize it or not, these beliefs shape our thoughts, emotions, and actions—and they can either limit us or empower us.

The problem is that most of us have more limiting beliefs than empowering ones. This isn't because we're bad people; our brains are wired for survival. Our subconscious minds constantly scan our environment for threats, and when they perceive one, they send a warning signal to protect us. This warning signal manifests as fear, doubt, worry, or other negative emotions, and it can prevent us from taking risks or pursuing our dreams.

How To Break Free From Your Limiting Beliefs

The first step is to become aware of the limiting beliefs holding you back. Once you're aware of them, you can start to challenge them. For example, let's say you believe you cannot change and do not have the persistence to adopt new habits. Is that true? Why do you believe that? What evidence do you have to support it? You'll find that your evidence is mainly based on your past experiences or what other people have told you. But just because something has been confirmed in the past doesn't mean it will always be true. And just because someone else believes something about you doesn't make it accurate.

The second step is to replace your limiting beliefs with empowering ones. This will require some soul-searching to determine what those empowering beliefs might be. But once you've found them, hold onto them tightly and remind yourself of them often. If you find yourself slipping back into old thinking patterns, don't beat yourself up about it—gently redirect your thoughts to your new empowering beliefs.

Taking Action From A Place Of Empowerment

Once you've replaced your limiting beliefs with empowering ones, you'll find that taking action becomes much more accessible—because you'll finally be coming from a place of empowerment instead of limitation. When you act from a place of empowerment, anything becomes possible. So go out there and create the life YOU want to live!

Conclusion:

You deserve to live a life that makes YOU happy, not meeting someone else's standards or expectations. But to do that, you must let go of the self-imposed limitations holding you back. It's not easy, but it is possible. Just become aware of your limiting beliefs, challenge them, and replace them with empowering ones.
