What Happened?

Self-driving vehicle firm Waymo has expanded its partnership with trucking firm J.B. Hunt with plans to ultimately reach fully autonomous truck transport in the “next few years,” the companies announced Friday. Waymo and J.B. Hunt have formed an alliance to integrate autonomous trucks with the commercial company’s logistics platform. The companies will conduct multiple pilots to move freight along I-45 for J.B. Hunt’s clients using Waymo software.
